Seminar on President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career held in Hanoi

The event is in celebration of the 130th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2020) and in implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW on enhancing the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morals and lifestyle.”
The event saw the participation of over 30 scientists, researchers, managers, representatives of ministries and branches, and former leaders and officers of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.
At the seminar, the delegates recalled the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), as well as the revolutionary career and great contribution of President Ho Chi Minh to our Party and our revolution.
44 scientific reports presented at the event not only reaffirmed the great role of President Ho Chi Minh in the development and victories of Vietnam’s revolution, but also contributed to promoting the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morals and lifestyle” in the new period.
Some speeches clarified the social and political context in Vietnam when President Ho Chi Minh left the country to find the way to save the nation, as well as the process of his absorbing and creatively applying Marxism – Leninism into Vietnam. They also reviewed his effort to establish and train the CPV, along with his building of the armed forces, preparation for the August Revolution.
