Seven beauty queens “check-in” Vietnam’s famous golden bridge

PSNews – Seven beauty queens across the world recently arrived in Da Nang for a tourism promotion program, at the invitation of the Da Nang Municipal Department of Tourism and Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2016 Truong Dieu Ngoc. 

Within the framework of the tourism promotion program, the seven beauty queens, who had attended Miss World 2016, from Thailand, Indonesia, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Japan and Vietnam, visited Sun World Ba Na Hills. Their images at the famous golden bridge during the trip have become hot topics on social media these days. 

Miss India Priyadarshini Chatterjee shared that, she had been impressed by its beauty through photos on social media before visiting the Golden Bridge. " I'm here on the famous Golden Bridge. I feel very excited and the weather is also really great," she said.

The seven beauty queens also enjoyed fine German Beer within the event B’estival at the 4000sqm Beer Plaza in Sun World Ba Na Hills. 

Admiring giant hands of Mountain God, Miss Indonesia Natasha Mannuela affirmed that she would definitely come back here with her friends and family in the future with the aim of introducing them the beauty of Vietnam.  

The US-based most visited architecture website archdaily.com lauded the structure as a “daring” bridge while the French design website creapills.com described the bridge as an “absolutely impressive bridge in Vietnam” which offers visitors “an incredible experience: crossing a footbridge that seems literally supported by two giant stone hands.”
Located more than 1,400m above sea level, the bridge serves as a transit between a replica of a French village and Le Jardin D’Amour flower garden in Ba Na Hills resort. From the bridge, visitors have a panoramic view of the green mountains of Nui Chua.
The walkway is 150 metres long and comprises of eight spans, each of which is lined with purple chrysanthemums. The bridge took just under a year to construct, with designs by TA Landscape Architecture. It is part of a US$2 billion development project to bring more tourists to Vietnam.
