Sixth Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards launched

The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards, held for the sixth time now, honors the values of the natural and cultural heritage of Vietnam and its people through images in various topics, including nature, tangible and intangible culture, and market life in different parts of the country.
The contest this year features a new topic, "market". Accordingly, by describing scenes of trading activities in markets of Vietnam, photographers have chance to show off their talent and to honor special values of the culture and ethnic groups of Vietnam.

The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2017 welcomes all entries from Vietnamese and foreign photographers.
Authors may submit their works to two categories of single photo and photo sets. As for the single photo category, each author may submit 4 photos at the maximum per topic. In the other category, each author may send up to 4 sets of photos with 6 photos at the maximum each.
It is also required that clear captions and related stories be attached to the photos. The submission deadline is September 15, 2017.
100 best works will be selected for an online display and then be introduced to the public in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The awarding ceremony is expected to take place in late October 2017. Sixteen prizes in kind, including Canon cameras, printers and resort vouchers, will be awarded to winners.
