Thousands of confidential documents on Uncle Ho to be made public
The State Archives and Records Department will soon hold an exhibition to introduce 12,000 of confidential documents about Uncle Ho (also known as Nguyen Ai Quoc), which were collected by French secret agents, during the time he worked in France.
Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the State Archives and Records Department of Vietnam stated that the French Archives Department handed over to Vietnam 12,000 of confidential documents about President Ho Chi Minh during the time he carried out revolutionary activities in France.
These include invaluable documents, such as the studies by French experts about Nguyen Ai Quoc, the person who signed the Annamese petition to the Versailles Peace Conference in 1919, all articles and his pseudonyms while living in France.
The State Archives and Records Department of Vietnam is now on the progress to introduce those documents to the public in early 2018.
