Three Vietnamese students to join International Photography Festival in Japan
Three members of the Vo Tanh photography club of the Ly Tu Trong High School in Nha Trang will participate in the International Photography Festival, from August 2-9, in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.
To have been selected as representatives of the Vietnamese students for the International Photography Festival in Japan, these three students of the Ly Tu Trong High School, namely Tran Ngoc Bao Han (class 10A), Van Ai Quan (12A11) and Tran Hoang Phuc Thinh (12D1), had won the photo competition named “The pride of my hometown”.
“The pride of my hometown” photo contest is a part of the project "For a bright future of Vietnamese Photography" with the aim of training, encouraging and promoting photography movement among high school students, contributing to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding of students of different countries through intercultural photography.
As planned, photographer Nguyen Quang Son (Na Son) will give technical support to Bao Han, Ai Quan and Phuc Thinh in all three topics of the festival: landscapes, festivals and daily-life activities.
This year’s International Photography Festival attracts 22 teams coming from different countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Australia, the USA, Canada, the Republic of Korea, China, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Singapore, Finland, Russia, Poland, Marshall island, Mongolia, to name but a few.
