Three books on history of Dai Co Viet State released

PSNews - Three books have been released after almost 10 years the author studied historical documents and traveled around and talked to local people in Hoa Lu land, Ninh Binh province.

The books, namely “Dinh Tien Hoang emperor“ (Published by the Thanh Nien Publishing House) , “Queen of two dynasties” (Published by the Writers' Association Publishing House) and “Le Dai Hanh Emperor” (Published by the Hong Duc Publishing House),were compiled and written by Nguyen Thien Luan, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Through the three historical figures of Dinh Bo Linh (Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor), Duong Thi (Queen Mother Duong Van Nga) and Le Hoan (King Le Dai Hanh), author Nguyen Thien Luan revives the patriotism of generals and people of that time.

It was the time when all Vietnamese people under the leadership of Dinh Bo Linh rose up in arms and quelled revolts conducted by twelve war lords. Dinh Bo Linh united the country,and founded the Dai Co Viet State (the Great Viet Land) as the first feudal independent nation in the country’s history.

Dinh Bo Linh became the King of Dai Co Viet and ordered to build the capital city of Hoa Lu (currently in Ninh Binh province).
