Thua Thien – Hue welcomes first international cruiser in 2019

PSNews – Malta’s luxury cruiser Celebrity Constellation on January 28 docked in Chan May port of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue carrying 2,038 international visitors and 999 sailors.

The international guests were welcomed with flowers and souvenirs in a warm reception held by the Thua Thien- Hue Tourism Department in collaboration with Chan May port.
The international tourists were then taken to the most popular relics, landscapes, cultural heritages in Hue ancient capital, Hoi An old town and Danang city. They also tasted specialties of the unique culinary of central Vietnam.
Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Tourism Nguyen Van Phuc said the event was part of a series of cultural and tourist activities this year in Thua Thien-Hue province, contributing to promoting the province’s tourism in a sustainable way.
