“Turn off the lights, turn on the ideas 2017” festival wrapped up

PSNews - This campaign aims to raise people's awareness of climate change and popularize the message of environmental protection, especially among young people.

The closing ceremony of the campaign “Turn off the lights, turn on the ideas 2017” was held on March 25 in Hanoi, attracting nearly 3,000 participants. 

Joining this event – a part of the Earth Hour, people were not only be engaged in a great environmental event in 2017 but also rescued our environment by their own ways. 

This campaign aims to raise people's awareness of climate change and popularize the message of environmental protection, especially among young people.

The Earth Hour is a worldwide campaign held annually by the World Wide Fund for Nature to encourage individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their unnecessary lights for at least one hour, which serves as their commitment to the planet.

The movement began in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has ever since spread all over the world with more than 7,000 cities participating in the annual event.
