Vietnam culture and art introduced in RoK

PSNews – Under the policy on promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism in the Northeast Asia market in 2019 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a group of famous Vietnamese artists, including those from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Viet Bac Folk Song and Dance Theatre, has a performance tour in Republic of Korea (RoK) from October 2-13.

The Vietnamese art group successfully held the first show in Buyeo City (about 120km South of Seoul) attracting thousands of local people.
The show was within the framework of the Baekje Cultural festival, the largest annual traditional cultural festival of RoK.
The art group also performed at the Vietnam Cultural Festival and the Theater of Gwangju, which is known as an Asian culture center of RoK, and also home to of the largest overseas Vietnamese community in RoK.
In Seoul, the art group also gave 3 shows with sophisticated art performances to the local audience. All these shows conveyed the message of friendship between people of Vietnam and RoK, contributing to promoting unity between the Vietnamese community in RoK and the homeland, and inviting RoK friends to visit Vietnam.
