Vietnam’s culture promoted at ASEAN Family Day

The Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey took part in the ASEAN Family Day held by the ASEAN Ankara Committee on November 10.

The event, held in Ankara city, drew in 7 ambassadors and embassies’ staff of AAC member countries, namely Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Attendees actively joined interesting games and art performances and enjoyed special dishes of each country.

As Vice President of the AAC, the Vietnamese Ambassador introduced the guests to traditional handicraft products and dishes such as noodle soup and green bean and pumpkin sweet soup. Vietnam’s cultural history, socio-economic development achievements and diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Turkey were also on display.

The ASEAN Family Day is an annual event held by the AAC with the aim of strengthening solidarity among the ASEAN Community.
