Vietnam's largest outdoor visual arts show recalls golden time of Hoi An

PSNews - The outdoor visual arts show program "Hoi An Memories" is a significant cultural event and also the largest show ever in Vietnam with a performance stage of 25,000 square meters. 

The outdoor visual arts show program "Hoi An Memories", debuted on March 18, revives the image of Hoi An port in 16th and 17 centuries. Audiences would see performances with the participation of nearly 500 actors and actress, reflecting ups and downs during the 400-year history of Hoi An port.

"Hoi An Memories" is also the largest outdoor visual art show program ever in Vietnam with a performance stage of 25,000 square meters, which includes the typical architectures of Hoi An, boats, waterways and modern lighting and sound systems.

The whole program is a creative product inspired by the love for the culture and history of Hoi An in particular and of Vietnam in general; thus, visual arts help arouse national pride.

Each show is expected to welcome 3,300 domestic and international audiences.

Along with the "Hoi An Memories" program, in April, Hoi An city will open the Hoi An Impression Theme Park, which is located next to the Hoai river in Cam Chau and Cam Nam districts, Hoi An city.

The park will retrace the golden time of Hoi An trading port during. It will also provide a space for visitors to interact with local culture.
