Vietnam’s representative at Miss Universe 2017 heads to Las Vegas
PSNews – Nguyen Thi Loan, a runner-up at Miss Universe 2015, representing Vietnam at the Miss Universe 2017 left for the beauty pageant with 90 others candidates in Las Vegas, on November 10.

Loan, in her beautiful flower-embroidered dress designed by Do Long, drew attention from many people at Tan Son Nhat airport. Do Long, a well-known Vietnamese designer, also designed Loan’s dress for this year’s Miss Universe’s evening gown competition.
Ms. Duong Truong Thien Ly, National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam, Loan’s family and supporters also saw off her at the airport.
Nguyen Thi Loan has been the third representative of Vietnam to participate in Miss Universe in recent years. She with delight and determination said she would try her best, and hoped she would achieved good results at the pageant.
Loan said she brought with her 6 suitcases which weigh over 200 kg, including a very special one containing a surprise that she would reveal when arriving in the US.
Miss Universe 2017 takes place from November 10 to 26 in Las Vegas. Over 90 beauties from all over the world will compete for the 2017 Miss Universe. The Finale is scheduled on November 26.
