Vietnam welcomes more than 1 million foreign tourists in July

Vietnam welcomed 1 million 36 thousand foreign tourists this month, an increase of 21% compared to the same period last year.

This is the 5th consecutive month that the number of foreign tourists to Vietnam has exceeded 1 million.
Nguyen Van Tuan, Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said, “This is attributed to our society’s changes toward the tourism sector as well as sound policies of the Party and State.
While both the regional and global situation can be complicated due to terrorism and violence, Vietnam’s political stability is a factor that attracts foreign tourists”.
The number of domestic visitors in July reached 46 million.
