Vietnamese Tet exhibition-fair 2017 opens in Hanoi

The Tet exhibition-fair is one of the practical activities to celebrate the major holidays of the country in 2017, including the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (03-02-1930).
The exhibition-fair features nearly 100 handicraft products of famous artisans and skilled craftsmen of 12 traditional industries, such as sculptural items, mosaic, rattan and bamboo, silk and pottery products; and craft products.
80 paintings themed “Tet Dinh Dau” (Paintings of the Year of the Rooster), in various materials by 16 Hanoi artists, are also showcased at the fair.
At the corner “Spring Calligraphy”, visitors can enjoy many calligraphy works on special materials, showing great traditional values of the nation.
The Vietnamese exhibition-Tet fair 2017 will run until January 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts at No 2, Hoa Lu street, Hanoi.
