Vietnamese traditional dress throughout history exhibited
PSNews – On the occasion of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, a series of documents and Vietnamese traditional dress throughout history will be exhibited on November 23, at the Center of Vietnamese Culture and Art, Hanoi, with the aim of honoring value of the unique cultural heritages of Vietnam.

International and domestic visitors will have chance to explore information and styles of Vietnamese traditional dress (Ao Dai) in many period of history at the exhibition “Space of Vietnamese cultural heritage”, from November 23-25, at the Center of Vietnamese Culture and Art, Hanoi.
The 3-day event, organized by the Center of Vietnamese Culture and Art in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of 15 cities and provinces aims to promote and honor value of the unique cultural heritages of Vietnam, contributing to developing sustainable tourism and accelerating conservation works.
In addition to Ao Dai’s information, the exhibition displays the Ao dai worn by famous figures like heroin Nguyen Thi Dinh, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, and former ambassador to the EU and Belgium Ton Nu Thi Ninh.
The space named “Modern Ao Dai” introduces visitors new Ao Dai collections of famous designers of Vietnam such as Si Hoang, Thuy Nguyen, Andrian Anh Tuan, Tung Vu, Huu La La, Magonn. Particularly, visitors can learn to design ao dai on paper with the guidance of artisans at the exhibition.
Besides, the event will display 100 photos on the theme taken by 89 photographers. The photos have been selected from the 4,753 entries competing at the 2018 Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest.
