Vinh Long to hold first beauty pageant for puppies in Vietnam
PSNews – A special beauty pageant for dogs organized in Vinh Long is expected to bring interesting experiences for participants and tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Vinh Long stated on November 4 that it will cooperate various agencies to hold the first Beauty Pageant for Dogs.
All of the participants must attain purity and are divided into 2 groups based on their weight, including under 10 kg and from 10 to 25 kg. Additionally, the dogs must be vaccinated.
The organizers will award 2 first prizes (worth VND 10 million each), 2 second prizes (worth VND 5 million each), 2 third prizes (worth VND 3 million each) and a number of additional prizes. According to the organizers, it is estimated that about 100 dogs will compete in the pageant and one can bring many dogs to compete. The "Miss" dog must meet many criteria set by the organizers.
All applications must be registered by December 25, at the Tourism Management Office, Tourism Promotion Information Center (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long ). The qualifiers will be organized on the 30th and 31st of December.
