Winners of "Russia in my heart" writing contest announced

PSNews - The People's Army Newspaper (Quan doi Nhan dan Newspaper) held a ceremony to announced winners of "Russia in my heart" writing contest on December 29.

Launched by the Quan doi Nhan dan newspaper from May to November, the contest, entitled Nuoc Nga Trong Trai Tim Toi (Russia in My Heart), aimed to promote the time-honoured relationship between the two countrie and to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Senior Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper, said that the ‘Russia in My Heart’ writing contest in 2020 attracted the participation of a large number of journalists and collaborators from both inside and outside the military.

The works reflect the love of contestants for Russia, whether they studied there or have never ever been to the country, according to Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Quan doi Nhan dan newspaper.

Six months after launching, the Organising board had received more than 300 entries, of which nearly 100 works were selected and published by the People's Army Newspaper.
10 consolation prizes |
Lieutenent General Le Phuc Nguyen, former Editor-in-Chief of the Quan doi Nhan dan newspaper and a former student in Russia, has won the first prize in a writing contest about Russia.
The organisers also presented two second prizes, three third prizes and 10 consolation prizes to the 16 best works. In addition, 14 authors and seven units with high scores in the final round were also honoured.
