18th satellite emergency medical centre officially debuts

PSNews-The 18th satellite emergency station was officially launched. This satellite emergency station is located in Binh Thanh District Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, to better meet need of people for health care.

The hospital conducts diagnosis and treatment to about 2000-2400 patients per day, including 30-40 emergency cases, said Dr. Le Hoang Quy, Deputy Director of the hospital. Most emergency cases are treated by doctors at the hospital, but patients with critical illness are moved to other upper channel hospitals, such as Gia Dinh People's Hospital.

Binh Thanh district is home to about 400,000 people, including a large number of free immigrants. The establishment of the satellite healthcare station in Binh Thanh District Hospital is of great significance, contributing to improving the quality of health care for the people in the locality and its neighboring areas.

Accordingly, Binh Thanh District Hospital has assigned a team of doctors with medical devices and equipment and vehicles, who can go to the scene and give first aid and emergency care to patients of 115 satellite health station. The 17th satellite health center has officially opened and is operating in the hospital of District 9.
