283 women awarded or posthumously awarded as " Vietnamese Heroic Mother"

Quang Tri province held a ceremony on April 27, to award or posthumously award the "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" title to 283 women for their great contributions to the revolutionary cause.

As many as 2,442 women in Quang Tri have so far been awarded or posthumously awarded the "Vietnamese Heroic Mother" title. All of them have their children and husbands, who bravely sacrificed themselves for national liberation and unification.
The great sacrifice of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers has helped build up the heroic tradition of Vietnam, brighten the country and people. They have well deserved Uncle Ho-presented golden words: "Heroism, Undauntedness, Loyalty and Responsibility".
Speaking at the ceremony, Party Chief of Quang Tri province emphasized that over the past years, authorities and people of Quang Tri have actively and well carried out social activities, caring for revolution contributors and supporting policy families.
In doing so, the authorities of Quang Tri have contributed to upholding the provincial revolutionary tradition, and successfully fulfilling revolutionary missions in the current period.
