Veterans join hands to maintain social order in border areas

PSNews – In the past years, the Public Security Forces in collaboration with the Dai Loc District Veteran Association has effectively maintained political security, social order and safety in locality.

Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province, adjacent to the most crowded city of Danang and the Dien Ban town, has been considered a “hot spot” in security terms.

According to Mr. Phan Chi Hoa, Chairman of the Veteran Association of Dai Hiep commune, since 2013, the organization has well deployed the model of self-management of social order and security in 7 villages of the commune with 5 veterans in each village.

Since 2015, the organization has collaborated with the public security forces to conduct regular patrols in the locality and to launch the movement “All people reporting crimes”.

Thanks to the collaboration of the veteran organization and the Public Security Forces, the local security and social order situation has been improved.

Thanks to these fruitful results, Dai Loc commune has met the 19th criterion set by the Ministry of Public Security in the building of new rural areas and recognized as a new rural area.
