400kg bomb deactivated in Kon Tum province

Earlier, on April 1, a bomb, which are nearly 400kg in weight, 1.15m in length and 41cm in diameter, containing 170 kg of explosives, was found by a local man while working in his garden.

The bomb, which has been determined by experts a legacy of the war against American invaders, then was moved to a safe place by the Kon Tum provincial Military Command.

The Kon Tum provincial Military Command on April 2 has also successfully handled a M72 anti-tank gun and some of artillery shells discovered in Dak Cam commune, Kon Tum city.
