6 poisoned after eating wild mushrooms

- 29 workers hospitalized in Ha Nam due to food poisoning
The Dak Lak Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department on June 14 said that the unit in collaboration with the EaH'leo District Health Facility is investigating some wild mushrooms after six people of a family had displayed symptoms of poison while eating the wild mushrooms.
Earlier on June 12, Mr. Y GrekKsor (aged 58, residing at Bia village, EaHiao Commune, EaH'leo District) and his family cooked porridge with wild mushrooms for dinner.
After eating the porridge, all six members of the family suffered fatigue and vomiting.
Of them, Ms. Nay H’kien (aged 24) and Y Tan (aged 3) were hospitalized as they were in a critical condition.
Luckily, the other 4 members had lesser symptom so they recovered after a while.
Thanks to doctors’ care, the two serious patients became better later and they have now been discharged from hospital.
