This comes after the provincial committee issued an urgent dispatch on May 19 requesting that local authorities of all districts and cities urgently review and take samples of employees who have been sent to concentrated quarantine facilities or who are self-isolating at home.

All of them must also be placed in separate areas as they are likely to be infected with COVID-19, according to the Steering Committee. Furthermore, F1 and F2 cases who came into close contact with COVID-19 workers must be traced immediately.

This comes after a high percentage of positive results were recorded in the local area, with the province now being the country's largest COVID-19 hotspot.

As of May 18, the COVID-19 outbreak in Hosiden Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park of Viet Yen district has recorded a total of 238 positive cases.
