Ambassadors of Germany and France thank Vietnam for its donation of face masks

PSNews - Recently, German and French Ambassadors to Vietnam sent their thanks to Vietnam for the donation of antibacterial cloth masks in support of the Germans and French to fight against COVID-19.

In a press release issued on May 7, the German Embassy in Vietnam informed that representatives of the Vietnam – Germany Friendship Association presented 80,000 antibacterial cloth masks to support Germans in the fight against the COVID-19. These masks were donated by the Association's members.

"Thank you, Vietnam. These gifts demonstrate the close relationship, solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Germany. Currently, medical face masks are rare and helpful items in my country", said German Ambassador to Vietnam Guido Hildner.

Ambassador Guido Hildner affirmed that Vietnam represents one of the most successful countries in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.  He underscored: "International solidarity is being needed more than ever before to prevent the spread of the coronavirus".

On the same day, the French Embassy in Vietnam also released that, over the past one month, many organizatión and individuals donated medical equipment, especially medical face masks to France. Vietnam Airlines supported the French Embassy to delivery 250,000 medical face masks to France for free.

The French Embassy sent thanks to the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam-France Friendship Association, the Hanoi Medical University, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and other tourist companies.
