Bac Giang – Lang Son Expressway officially opens

Bac Giang – Lang Son BOT Company has proposed the Provincial People’s Committee of Lang Son to open the expressway for free during the Tet holiday to help reduce traffic congestion and accidents and better serve the travelling need of the people although this will cause a big loss in revenue of the project. This also is a good chance for the company to assess the operation of the whole express.

Earlier on January 10, the People’s Committee of Lang Son met with the company to review the project and agreed to put the project into operation.

The Bac Giang – Lang Son Expressway project has a total investment of nearly VND 12.2 trillion. The project has two main sub-projects:110 kilometers of National Highway 1 and the 64-kilometer-long expressway connecting Bac Giang and Lang Son city.

With the new express, it would take only over 2 hours to travel from Hanoi to Lang Son or vice versa.
