Book donation to be held for mountainous children

PSNews - The 3rd annual Autumn Book Fair, hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Vietnamese Publishers’ Association, is taking place at Thong Nhat Park from August 22 to 26.

This annual event aims to create a reading space for Hanoi readers, and promote the reading culture in the community. Visitors to the event can access a wide range of books of various fields.
This year’s edition will have over 50 booths of Hanoi’s publishers and publishing houses and some from Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An.
During golden hours, readers can purchase books with up to 40-50% discounts. In addition, visitors can participate in various education programs , such as the introduction of the book "Science 4.0 Talks" by the Kim Dong Publishing House, seminar "Let your baby be a kindhearted one", and talk-show with Tong Thi Lan Huong, author of the book "Parenting Bilingual Baby".
This year's Autumn Book Fair will also hold a donation of used books to build 1000 bookshelves for primary and secondary students in Ta Gia Khau mountainous area, Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province, under the project "Bookshelves for mountainous regions". Everyone is encouraged to donate old books to the project.
