The international design contest, hosted by UrbanactionsHK and the School of Architecture under the Chinese University of Hong Kong, aims at finding students’ creative ideas to improve public spaces in the inner districts of Hong Kong.
49 projects from 20 countries and territories sent to the organizing panel.
Project 0416 of the student team from the Department of Architecture of the Da Nang University themed “Vision-Awesomeness-Soul-Happiness” gives ideas to turn a “forgotten” space in Hong Kong into the Lok Hung Lane garden – a space with “storytelling” structures.
The project also won the 2nd prize at the International Architecture Competition in Busan, South Korea.
