Dak Nong police chief visits officer injured on duty

Senior Colonel Ho Van Muoi, Director of Dak Nong provincial police, on September 16 visited and inquired after Junior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Hung, a police officer, who was injured while chasing a suspected drug dealer.

Hung, an officer at the Criminal Offences, Economic and Drug-related Crimes Squad under the Dak Song District Police Station, is now being treated at 304 Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.

Senior Colonel Ho Van Muoi praised officer Hung for his high sense of responsibility, fighting spirit and bravery, saying that the effort of the Dak Song district police and officer Hung contributed to protecting the peaceful life of local people and ensuring local security and order.

He showed his care for Hung’s health and asked the staff of the hospital to give good medical services to Hung so that he would recover soon.

The police of Dak Song district were asked to continue gathering evidence and investigating the case so as to soon bring the suspect to court in accordance with the laws while making further efforts to ensure security and order in the locality.
