The force is expected to check the locations for five border markers from number 56 to 60 in the 19-km borderline in Tuy Duc district’s Quang Truc commune. The work will help gather information and build a demarcation plan for the mapping of the section by the National Border Committee.
The force will also join its Cambodian counterpart to clear the areas chosen for demarcation, as well as purchase and transport construction materials to these locations.
The outcomes achieved from the border demarcation and marker planting work will be spread among the residents of relevant localities through communications campaigns.
It was reported at the conference that in 2018, Dak Nong completed the planting of eight major markers and 84 sub-markers, meeting the year’s set target.
Dak Nong shares a borderline with Cambodia spanning 121 km, of which 117 km were demarcated.
