“Danish Week - Sustainable City Solutions” exhibition opens in Hanoi
PSNews - An exhibition themed “Danish Week - Sustainable City Solutions” was held at Ly Thai To square, Hanoi on December 16 by the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, the University of Civil Engineering and the Denmark-Vietnam Alumni Network.

The exhibition is part of the “Danish Week - Sustainable City Solutions” program, held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from December 12th, 2017 to 17th, with various activities, such as exhibitions, seminars, film screenings, master classes and a contest on practical ideas to build a cleaner, greener city.
The event was attended by the Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms. Charlotte Laursen, Mr Nguyen The Hung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
The exhibition features a number of typical projects implemented in the Danish cities of Copenhagen and Aarhus in order to become carbon neutral cities by 2025 and 2030, and typical contemporary architectural works designed by Danish architects.
The Embassy of Denmark also announced the results of the contest “Raising Awareness of Green City Solutions in Vietnam”, fin support of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 11: Making cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
