Transport on the north-south railway had to be halted for several hours after a passenger train derailed in the southern province of Dong Nai.

According to initial reports, two train carriages were derailed as the passenger train TN7 crossed the Tan Hiep ward in Bien Hoa city in the southern province of Dong Nai at 1am on February 14.
Hundreds of workers along with an array of machinery and equipment gathered at the scene to deal with the incident, which resulting in a total halt to transport on the north-south railway for several hours. All passengers were forced to be transferred to Ho Chi Minh City by car.
The north-south railway didn’t resume operation until 6am. A further investigation into the incident is underway.VOV
