E-health declaration mandatory in HCMC from June 24

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) People's Committee Duong Anh Duc has signed a document on the implementation of the electronic health declaration in the city.

The document stated that, recently, the HCMC authority has launched an e-health declaration system in all medical facilities in the city to assist the contact tracing of suspected COVID-19 cases.

In order to promote the efficiency of this system in the prevention and control of COVID-19, the HCMC People’s Committee will implement the e-health declaration system throughout the city from June 24.

In particular, local residents and people who comes to places of businesses, work, entertainment, industrial parks, and dwellers who participate in activities involving large crowds must fill e-health declarations.

The mandate also applies for hospital, medical facilities, apartment buildings, schools, public transport hubs, shopping malls, supermarkets and wholesale markets.

The authorities of Thu Duc City and  other districts are asked to provide accounts to residents and help them to register and fill their e-health declarations on the system.

The HCMC Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with the HCMC Health Department and the HCMC Center for Disease Control to issue guidelines on how to use the system.
