Environmental photography contest honors 19 outstanding pieces

PSNews - 19 outstanding photos featuring environmental issues won honorable prizes from the General Department of Environment under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The 2017 contest themed "Nature's Desire" has drawn more than 2,600 entries from all over the country.
Among the 19 outstanding finalists, a photo named "Tea hills" taken by photographer Nguyen Thanh Hai (Ha Tinh) won the first prize. The jury also awarded 2 second, 3 third and 8 consolation prizes, along with 5 prizes for the most favorite photos.
The environmental photography contest aims to enhance the creativity of the community through photos encouraging positive behaviors in environment protection and while criticizing environment polluting acts.
This year's entries have reflected a new perspective of the Vietnamese environment and they serve as valuable resources for disseminating environmental protection to the community
