Famous artists attend The Hanoi Run for Children

PSNews - People's Artist Le Khanh, Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh, MC Phan Anh, Singer Thai Thuy Linh and others famous celebrities together with more than 1000 people at different ages participated in The Hanoi Run for Children (HRC) held on December 11th.

The Hanoi Run for Children (HRC) was organized by the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association (VCFA) in collaboration with the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), the Embassy of Canada in Hanoi, Manulife Vietnam and Elite Fitness on December 11morning at Thong Nhat Park.

The event also saw Singer Duc Tuan, Singer Bao Tram and athlete Le Van Cong - the first Vietnamese athlete to achieve gold medal in Paralymic, breaking the world record in weightlifting for disable athlete in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

Celebrities together with organizers raising their hands to show the event's spirit toward children. Talking to press, Ms. Ping Kitnikone - Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam said: ''The Hanoi Run for Children 2016 is a charitable activity to help unlucky kids. This is a chance for us to spread the message ''Together we can bring to children a better life''.
The event attracted the participation of thousands of people at different ages, including little athletes fond of running.

A cheerful atmosphere occupying the event

Along with the participation of Vietnamese organizations and individuals, nonprofessional athletes and foreigners living and working in Vietnam also taking part in the event.
Youngsters taking photo with the organizer team after finished their runs. Some said this is a chance to improve their fitness, and also a joyful activity for the weekend after a hard working week. After all, they feel happy as they could share empathy with the needy children and contribute to society.
