Fire destroys Hanoi karaoke bar

A huge fire broke out at a X2 karaoke bar in Hao Nam street, Dong Da district, Hanoi at 12:10 p.m. on October 9, sending flames and smoke swirling into the sky.

| According to some eyewitnesses, the fire started on the 6th floor of the 9-storey building, before spreading up to the 7
th and 8 th floors. |

| Fortunately, there were no staff working in the building at the time as they went out for lunch. |

| Shortly after the incident, seven fire engines were quickly dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire. |

| As the fire broke out onto the upper levels of the building, a ladder truck had to be mobilized to help the firefighters control the flame. |
