Five Vietnamese fishermen rescued by foreign cargo ship

PSNews – Five troubled Vietnamese fishermen on vessel KG-93952 TS were successfully rescued by Ocean Treasure - Bulk Carrier cargo ship from Liberia on October 31, after hours desperately struggling against high sea-waves and strong winds.

On the morning of October 31, while fishing at 07 ° 50'00N - 109 ° 20'00E, about 30 nautical miles Northwest of Tu Chinh Island, Spratly Islands, fishing vessel KG-93952 TS was hit by strong waves and winds, and seawater was overflowed into the cabin, threatening lives of the five crewmen.
After receiving information from the Coastal Radio of Vietnam, Ocean Treasure - Bulk Carrier cargo ship, which was running across the area, decided to deploy a rescue plan for the distressed Vietnamese fishing trawler.It took the crew of the Liberian ship some time to successfully rescue the troubled Vietnamese fishermen.
