Of the patients discharged, one foreigner was confirmed to be among the group, with the individual being the country’s 167th patient, a 20-year-old Danish citizen.

Also among the released group was the nation’s 176th patient, a 38-year-old from the northern province of Thai Binh.

The three remaining cases are all from Hanoi.

Indeed, the 253rd and 258th patients hail from Ha Loi village in Me Linh district of Hanoi, an area that is something of a COVID-19 hotspot in the capital.

The final case involves the nation’s 195th patient, a 41-year-old from Hoang Mai district in Hanoi.

Over the past few days each patient has tested negative for the virus on various occasions, with the entire group currently enjoying stable health whilst none of them have been displaying any symptoms of the COVID-19 such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath.

After being discharged from the respective hospitals, each of member of the group will now be placed into isolation in order to undergo 14 days of mandatory observation as a means of ensuring there is no possibility of the virus reoccurring.

As of April 25, the country has recorded a total of 270 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with no fatalities. Of the total number of confirmed cases, 225 patients have subsequently gone on to make a complete recovery, whilst five cases have since retested as positive after being discharged from hospital.
