France-Vietnam Days of Innovation opened in HCM City

PSNews - A France-Vietnam Days of Innovation was kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on October 18 as a joint effort of the Consulate General of France and the city’s French Institute to celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The France-Vietnam Days of Innovation opened in Ho Chi Minh City on October 18. The event is part of the celebrations of the 45th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations and the fifth anniversary of the Vietnam-France strategic partnership.

Addressing the event, French Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Vincent Floreani said that the decades-long partnership has covered various fields and seen great achievements.

The event, according to organizers, will introduce French innovative projects in the medical field, scientific research and digital field. It is expected to generate ideas for projects, especially among local youths. 

The Franco-Vietnamese Days of Innovation includes Health Day on October 18 at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in district 10; the Sustainable Development Day on October 19; and the Digital Image Day on October 20 at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in district 1.
