Free wifi and security cameras to install in Ha Long Bay

PSNews – The Ha Long Municipal People's Committee has started installing in a free wifi system and security cameras at 17 stops on the Ha Long Bay cruise.

The free wifi system will help tourists access local information and entertainment programs while touring around Ha Long Bay. Meanwhile, the surveillance camera system will transmit live imaging data around the clock of the 17 stops on the bay cruise to mainland relevant agencies.

The installation will also facilitate local competent agencies’ monitoring and managing situations of the tourist sites as well as handling security issues and ensure safety for visitor.
Currently, free wifi services are already available at the tourist sites of Thien Cung, Day Go cave and Titop Island.
In 2017, all stops on the Ha Long Bay tours are expected to be covered with free wifi services. Overnight stopovers for tourist vessels will be soon installed in free wifi.
