GM Vietnam joins hands in renovating schools in Mu Cang Chai after flooding

PSNews - The mission of GM Vietnam presented nearly 600 gifts to needy children of the two said school points, such as food, blankets, notebooks, pens and coats. 

On October 5, 50 employees of GM Vietnam and other its distribution agents visited and presented gifts to the two worst flood-affected schools in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai.

8 Chevrolet Colorado cars carried the charitable mission to overcome a 350km journey to  Na Hang B educational facility of Pung Luong Kindergarten School and Xep Di Ho educational facility of Lao Chai Primary School.

The mission of GM Vietnam presented nearly 600 gifts to needy children of the two said school points, such as food, blankets, notebooks, pens and coats.

With the aim of bringing needy children there a meaningful Mid –Autumn festival, they also held a small music performance and lion dance to stir up the atmosphere in the remote mountainous places. 

In addition, the charitable team built a playground from recycled automotive materials, 2 concrete yards, renovated 2 classrooms and provide schooling equipment for the Na Hang B school facility, contributing to creating a friendly and creative study environment for the local children.
