Giant radish in Vietnam

The radish is originated from Japan and most popularly planted in Kagoshima province, and locally called Sakurajima, according to Nguyen The Anh, the owner of the record radish. In Japan, radish is used for various purposes, but radish pickles are very popular.

After 2 months of cultivation under organic methods, he now has 22 radish plants with their giant tubers coming out of the ground, in his garden. He also noted that the weight of his radish would grow greater with a traditional cultivation method.
