Hanoi honors 88 excellent graduates in 2018

PSNews - The Hanoi Municipal People's Committee on October 8 held a ceremony at the Temple of Literature to honor best graduates from universities and academies in Hanoi in 2018. 

Over the past 16 years since the first ceremony to honor best graduates of universities and academies in Hanoi, there have been 1,705 students honored and received Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee. Many of them have achieved successes in their careers and made contributions to the capital city as well as the country.

In the 2018’s event, Hanoi named 88 best graduates from local universities and academies who had attained impressive achievements or made outstanding contributions to Youth Union organizations and Student Associations. Many were also examples in overcoming difficulties and achieving excellent academic results while some had outstanding research projects and practical solutions that had won national and international awards.

Nguyen Hoang Hai, the best graduate of D40 course of the People's Police Academy with his average graduate score of 9.44 said that he was honored and proud of being present at the event. He promised to work harder as a police officer to make positive contributions to the development of the capital city and the country.

On behalf of the leaders of Hanoi City, Mr. Ngo Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee praised the achievements of the 88 honored graduates, saying that they are high-quality manpower resources of Hanoi city and of the country.

He believed that the excellent graduates with their creativity, aspirations and passions at work and study would continue to improve themselves and promote their youthful strengths and minds in life and at work to deserve the title of  “Excellent graduate” of the thousand-year-old capital city.

Earlier, the Hanoi Municipal Youth Union organization held a ceremony to record the 88 excellent graduates from local universities and academies in 2018 in the Golden Book at the Temple of Literature.
