|Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Hanoi Vuong Dinh Hue and Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung visit the construction site.
At the construction site of the viaduct in the Mai Dich - Nam Thang Long section, Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan, Director of the Hanoi Transportation Construction Investment Management Board said that the project is considered among the key construction projects for the 2016-2020 period and an important road connecting the inner city with Noi Bai airport, as well as linking between northern and northeastern provinces and the southern provinces of Hanoi.
The completion of the project is important for the capital city’s transport system, gradually completing Ring Road 3 as planned, solving traffic congestions on Pham Van Dong route, and at the same time creating space for the Ministry of Transport to invest in the viaduct on the high section from Mai Dich to Thang Long Bridge.
Hanoi’s Party Committee Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue requested the Hanoi Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board to urgently construct the entire ground area and completed by September as planned. The Board is requested to coordinate closely with the Ministry of Transport to complete the entire route by October 10, on the occasion of the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi
Regarding the capital saved from this project thanks to speeding up the construction progress, Hanoi leaders asked the Project Management Board to actively work with the relevant units under the Ministry of Transport and the authorities to draft an investment project of a tunnel under Hoang Quoc Viet Street.
The Hanoi’s Party Chief also requested the investor and the entrepreneur to speed up the progress of construction of the flyover at the intersection of Hoang Quoc Viet - Nguyen Van Huyen Streets and the extension of Nguyen Van Huyen Street.
Visiting the construction site of the elevated road along Ring Road 2, the section from Vinh Tuy Bridge to Nga Tu So, Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue requested the authorities of Dong Da and Hai Ba Trung districts to accelerate land clearance.
The Hanoi leaders also visited and asked the investors and entrepreneurs of the two other key transport projects related to Ring Road 3 to pay more attention to ensuring safety as well as quality, techniques and fine arts of works.
Additionally, the city’s leaders also highlighted the need to invest comprehensively in the systems of trees, lighting, sidewalks and asked the relevant units to strive to complete all the works in September 2020 to celebrate the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi and the National Party Congress.
