PSNews-On August 18, the Hanoi Municipal Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Hanoi Public Transport and Services Company (Transerco) opened 5 new bus routes to connect the inner city to suburb areas.

The new routes include Route 101 (Giap Bat Bus Station – Van Dinh), 102 (Yen Nghia Bus Station – Van Dinh), 103 (My Dinh Bus Station – Huong Son), 104 (My Dinh Bus Station – North Linh Dam) and 105 (Do Nghia urban areas – CauGiay).

Passengers will have to pay VND 9,000 for each travel on 101, 102 and 103 buses and VND 7,000 for each travel on 104 and 105 buses. Commuters may expect a bus in every 20 minutes-30 on average from 5 am to 8:25 pm.

The new bus routes connect Hanoi’s inner city to townships of several suburban districts to better serve the increasing demand for travelling from and to the city center.

Thanks to the 5 new bus routes, from August 18, Ung Hoa and My Duc districts, the last two of the 30 districts of Hanoi, would benefit from the subsidized high quality bus services of the city.

Although different routes use different buses according to the expected numbers of passengers, all buses of the five new routes have all high-quality facilities and comforts, including Led lights, wifi, GPS connecting to audio systems, and communications systems between the bus and the management center.

In 2016, the Transerco opened seven new bus routes, including two connecting to the inner-city urban areas; three others serving suburban districts.
