Hanoi pilots healthcare profile management system

Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee Ngo Van Quy revealed that Phuc Dong ward and Co Bi ward of Long Bien district have officially implemented the healthcare profile management system for their residents since March 1st.

Accordingly, the online healthcare profile management system is seen as a long-term and cost-saving solution for all people and the whole society.

Each profile contains basic information of a person and his or her health record of every check-up. In addition, this system is linked with the data of all hospitals of the city, creating favorable conditions for people to seek health consultancy and for doctors to figure out best therapies in curing patients.

Based on statistics on residents’ health stored on the system also help the health sector chart disease zones or sub-zones, so as to draw up suitable programmes to work out disease prevention and care for people's health.
