Hanoi plans 30 fireworks displays for Lunar New Year 2020
According to Ms. Bui Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Municipal Department of Culture and Sports, Hanoi will decorate 10 main streets with modern lighting system to welcome the new year.
Besides, governmental buildings and public places in Hanoi will also be decorated. The decorative lighting systems at governmental buildings and public places will also be under the management of the power sector.
Regarding the fireworks displays plan, Ms. Bui Thi Thu Hien said that, the fireworks displays this Lunar New Year will be hosted by the High Command of Hanoi capital city.
In particular, there will be 30 fireworks places in 30 districts and towns in urban and rural areas of Hanoi, including 6 high-altitude and 24 low-altitude fireworks points.
Each fireworks show is expected to last 15 minutes.
The high-altitude fireworks points will be Hoan Kiem Lake, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, My Dinh Stadium, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong District, and Son Tay Ancient Citadel.
