Hanoi plans to adjust school and working hours

In particular, the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee requested to process a number of projects including expanding and improving the quality of public bus service until 2020 vision to 2030; planning the quantity and range of activities for taxi and similar businesses.
Other projects such as intelligent traffic; vehicle emission surcharges; vehicle charges; or improving the efficiency of public transportation are also asked for detailed plans.

The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee also paid attention to the plan to reduce traffic congestion with working, school and business hour adjustment.
At the same time, relevant units have to set up plan to review and inspect the number of used motorbikes in Hanoi by vehicle registration, then propose measures to handle vehicles that do not meet technical and enviromental requirements.
The Resolution 04/2017/NQ-HDND issued by the Hanoi People’s Council aims to realize long-term and urgent measures to increase management of road vehicles in the 2017-2020 period, reduce traffic jam and environmental pollution, satisfy transport demand and improve living condition of the people.
