Hanoi police inspect local bars amid COVID-19

PSNews – The Hoan Kiem District Police Station under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department in February conducted inspections in local bars, restaurants, and karaoke bars in an effort to prevent and fight the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The inspection was carried out in some bars, restaurants and karaoke bars located in some populous streets such as Ta Hien, Luong Ngoc Quyen and Hang Buom.

The inspection results show that all local bars, restaurants and karaoke bars have seriously complied with the COVID-19 epidemic prevention regulations, including equipping medical facemasks and alcohol-based hand rub for staff members and customers.

A bar’s staff checks the customer’s body temperature at the entrance in line with the COVID-19 prevention regulations.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Minh Hue, Deputy Head of the Administrative Management and Social Order of the Hoan Kiem District Police Station is inspecting a local bar.

All employees at a bar at Ta Hien Street wear facemasks and use disinfectant bottles while serving customers.

Currently, there are 669 accommodation establishments operating in Hoan Kiem District, along with 16 karaoke bars and 24 other bars and restaurants.

All hospitability business establishments have signed the COVID-19 epidemic prevention commitment under the guidance of the local authority.
