PSNews - Hanoi would earn nearly 2,000 billion VND from auctioning old offices of eight municipal departments.

According to a representative of the Hanoi Finance Department, by  mid-2018, Hanoi will relocate its 8 departments to the new inter-agency complex on Vo Chi Cong road, Tay Ho district.

The eight departments to be relocated to the new complex include Finance; Planning and Investment; Urban Planning-Architecture; Natural Resources and Environment, Science-Technology; and the Hanoi Construction and Urban Planning Institute.

According to the plan, Hanoi will move its remaining departments to the second inter-agency complex at No.52, Le Dai Hanh street, Hai Ba Trung district after the construction is completed. At that time, the city will continue to auction the remaining old departments for its investment in civil projects.

The inter-agency complex model will save many costs as it shares electricity, water and the internet, the representative of the Department of Finance said.

According to estimates, the offices of the first 8 departments will cost nearly 2,000 billion VND.
