Hanoi to build tourism website

The Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No.207 / KH-UBND on the implementation of Resolution No. 06-NQ / TU, issuedon June 26,2016 bythe Hanoi City Party Committee on tourism development in the periodof 2016 -2020 and the following years.

Accordingly, the city People's Committee requires municipal departments and agencies, People's Committees of districts and towns to promote tourism information dissemination, promotion, cooperation and market development, in which the Department of Tourism leads and coordinates with relevant bodies to craft and deploy a strategy on promoting domestic and international tourism.

The city needs to complete the IT system in the State management of tourism and building projects to invest in and manage tourism resources and products as well as to digitize database of Hanoi tourism.

It should also build a Hanoi tourism information website and provide free wifi services in tourist attractions.
